Late fall and the holidays...

So now is the time of year where things get busy again, yet not with many examples of pictures to blog about. Late fall is a time for holiday orders of prints and albums, plus meetings with potential brides and grooms for 2009. Having just invested (heavily!) in a new lens that I was anxious to try out, imagine my surprise and pleasure when I received an email...



This is Cassie; she is my friend Jana's baby girl. Jana and Chris asked if I would stop by to photograph this sweet thing for a holiday card. I have to confess I was a tad nervous; I don't have children myself and don't do a lot of work with babies and toddlers. This shoot put me outside my comfort zone, for sure! Plus, with Jana being one of my best friends, it was extra important to me to do a great job.



How can you NOT make her look good?! I call the one below her "coy" one...



Of course we needed to have mom and dad join her...

I have to say, I'm really looking forward to the holiday card Mary's designing for you. Even with all of Sadie's silliness, it was tons of fun. Thanks guys!
