Ben and Shanna met while students at Medway High School while in the Drama Club and affections blossomed. After time apart, they reconnected several years later and true love was still there. Fast forward to August 16th in Cohasset, a very warm Sunday afternoon...
Shanna's dress was beautiful! I was thrilled with her fun choice of shoes...
Shanna looked amazing. Her poise throughout the day was amazing (more on that in a bit). Ben was nothing to sneeze at, either.
The Red Lion did a great job of setting up and trying to keep everyone cool. It's a good venue to photograph at with all of the interesting angles that can be had.
Our portrait session went wonderfully; Shanna and Ben are SO in love and it shows in all of their pictures. Then was the first dance...see what I mean about the angles?
Even during the cake cutting, the kissing didn't stop!
I loved this picture of some of Shanna's girlfriends dancing. It reminds me of "Charlie's Angels" for some reason.
Of course Shanna and Ben couldn't let their guests have all the fun dancing; they quickly broke out their "saucy dancing" for all to see (their description, I swear!).
The garter and bouquet was too much fun. Sometimes these get awkward, but the two of them made this so fun and entertaining!
Now, I had said earlier, that Shanna showed great composure during the day. That was because her dad ended up with a bad nosebleed right before the ceremony and had to take a trip to the local hospital, missing most of the day. Although he was feeling under the weather, he rallied and made it to the reception later on in the evening. Shanna was floored...and they were able to have their father-daughter dance at last.
